Franklin Lakes, NJ: Landscape Design & Installation of Parking Lot Surrounds
FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Following the addition of a new parking lot at their corporate campus, Becton Dickinson hired Grasskeepers Landscaping to design and install plantings and sod for the lawn areas surrounding the lot.
Plantings were installed at the end of summer with many soil amendments to ensure the health of the new shrubs. The existing soil was unsuitable for the sensitive sod. To remediate the soil, rocks were removed and fresh topsoil was added. The irrigation system was then utilized to keep the sod moist and cool so it would acclimate to the new environment and take root. The installation of new trees will conclude the project.
